A few years later, Dip Shipping expanded its warehouse and office facilities to Miami, FL; Atlanta, GA, Houston, Texas, and Honduras. Licensed by the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) as a Non-vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) and as an Ocean Freight Forwarder, the company prides itself in its timely and secure deliveries of containers, LTL consolidated cargo, and vehicles. Dip Shipping Company has a highly trained bilingual staff both in the USA and in Honduras. The company is known to provide a personalized service all the way along the logistics chain process. Roberto Dip, CEO and General Manager, has 20 years of experience with DOLE Food Company in the Purchasing and Logistics areas worldwide. His last position in the USA was Director of Corporate Purchasing and Logistics, leading a team that served purchasing and logistics needs for DOLE divisions in Latin America and Asia. His experience includes purchasing, consolidation, trucking, export documentation, vessel and container logistics, customs regulations and import duties. This experience and leadership, combined with a completely committed staff at all levels, have allowed Dip Shipping to have a rapid growth, moving hundreds of containers per year internationally. Total employees between the USA and Honduras are over 70. Affiliates throughout the USA add up to more than 30.
